What makes me stand out? I like to think I’m a source of good advice. Sometimes people’s questions determine my choice of books or other reading materials. I enjoy reading — whether studying a subject for the first time or revisiting a topic to refresh my memory. I like to engage others in conversation about topics that provide them with opportunities to tell stories, which stimulates my own thinking.

I am a consummate list-maker and have several going concurrently, always adding to and subtracting from. I’m pretty good at gathering lots of information and synthesizing it, creating bullets of main points. Because I like to read and research, work crossword puzzles, and play Jeopardy!, I consider myself to have a decent vocabulary, which (I believe) helps to keep my communications interesting.
